Skye Niseko teaser

I created this teaser as part of a pitch package included with Wilson Associates' bid to design the interiors of this luxury ski resort and hotel in Niseko, Japan.

Using a found photograph (shown below video), I cut out each mountain and animated their vertical movement in parallax to simulate the effect of a camera rising above the peaks. I blurred the foreground layers, I added multiple particle emitters to create animated fog to increase depth, and added a sunrise in the background to express the idea that Skye Niseko would bring about a new era of hospitality experience.

Wilson Associates won the contract and designed the interiors.
